HISTORY
AND&OR was founded in July 1986 in Coria del Río (SEVILLE) and entered into the Industrial Registry as number 41-28.555.
The company started its activities of electronic research and of design, development and manufacturing of the machinery and/or automatic control systems that the market required. Our field was mainly plastic containers, where we relied on 10 years of prior experience.
During the late 80s, the company developed the first automatic lines based on the blowing of containers: transport, leak testers, packing and palletisation.
In 1993, a new research and development project for a rotating machine to control container leaktightness, with a capacity to process 25000 b/h, was initiated and completed successfully.
In the mid 90s, the development of the first automatic machines to apply handles and covers was started.
Exports started gaining importance in the company in the late 90s.
In the year 2000, the company developed high-output handle application machines and systems for the end of the liquid product packing line. It worked for the most important packing firms in the world and the main machine manufacturing multinational companies.
Furthermore, AND&OR is still strong in the manufacture of machines for empty containers. It is developing many medium-/high-output projects for the main companies in this field.
In 2008, the company developed new special machines for the packing sector under patent. Additionally, a 4000 m2 plant for the manufacture and assembly of machinery was projected. AND&OR will start operating from there shortly to be able to rely on the most state-of-the-art production technology.
Exports currently represent 75% of the AND&OR turnover.
