The president of the General Government has visited the expansion of the company’s facilities, in Palomares del Río.

The president, Susana Díaz, has highlighted the “Andalusian talent” of the qualified personnel that operates in the company And&Or, which currently has become a benchmark in the sector of liquid packaging “inside and outside our country”. Díaz has made an institutional visit after the company’s facilities expansion, of more than 2,000 meters, which will bring with it the creation of new jobs.

“You do not have to go to a garage in Silicon Valley to see how technological development can make us an international reference,” said Susana Díaz, referring to the evolution of the company, which originated in the year 86 in a garage in Coria del Río. ”

The president has highlighted the family origin of And&Or and has valued the public-private collaboration between the Andalusian Agency for Foreign Promotion (Extenda) and And&Or, as “an example of the Andalusia we are building”, and that has facilitated the assistance of this Company to commercial missions in international fairs.

Susana Díaz has emphasized the “high technological level” of Andalusia, stating that currently “more aeronautics than olive oil” is sold and that “1 out of every 3 euros that we sell in the world has technological value”. Therefore, he concluded that “the oil of the immediate future is talent”, and stressed the importance “of the transfer of knowledge from universities to companies” to become a “technological reference” that supposes a “pride for the brand” Andalusia”.
